The Graduate arm of the Investment
Management Group is an independent student managed club, which is known
by the name Financial Statement Analysis and Securities Valuation
Association
or FSASVA. It is Baruch College's Student Chapter of the New York Society of Security Analysts better known as NYSSA. FSASVA decided to collaborate with the undergraduate club in
the Fall of 2012 to form a single brand that will be identifiable with
Bernard M. Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business. As the name suggests, FSASVA focuses on analyzing financial statements and the valuation of securities. FSASVA has grown considerably since its launch in 2010 and is expected to attract even more students as the club evolves over time. Our
mission is to introduce members to the world of investing, amplify
their understanding of various investment strategies and provide real
world experience, which together with the challenging
school curriculum would propel them to the higher echelons of the
financial industry. We plan to achieve this through weekly educational
meetings that provide knowledge of the quantitative fundamentals and trading methodologies
of underlying financial investments. For more information, please e-mail us at fsasvaclub@gmail.com Connect with us: |
